Course Description

This course aims to equip ship officers and captains with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental design and construction of various vessel types. Students practice proficiency in stability analysis, including proficiency in extracting data from hydrostatic tables and curves, as well as performing calculations related to ship draft, trim, list, and initial stability. The course duration comprises instructional hours and a three-hour final examination.
