Course Description

The SVMO exam prep course is intended for mariners sailing on board vessels of 750kW to 1 999 kW of propulsion power. Mariners will be able to comprehend technical terms and the function of different machinery on board their vessel. At the end of the course candidates will be required to write the SVMO examination at their local Transport Canada office in accordance with Chapter 33 of TP2293.
