Course Description

This course is intended for mariners serving on compulsorily fitted commercial ships within the North American A1 sea areas. It is compliant with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended in the 1995 (STCW 95 Regulation IV/2). The material presented in this course covers the scope of the examination for the Restricted Operator’s Certificate – Maritime Commercial (ROC-MC) for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).

Prerequisites

Minimum age requirement of 18 years. 

Valid Government Issued Photo ID (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport or Citizenship Card)
