Course Description
This course is a refresher of training courses designed to comply with the regulations and to refresh the seafarers’ skills in basic emergency duties through demonstrations and practical drills and exercises. This training will allow seafarers to renew their MED STCW BS and MED PSC Training for a period not exceeding five years. Prerequisites: Min. 16 years of age, Medical Fitness Report, STCW Basic Safety (or equivalent), STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft (or equivalent)Prerequisites
Valid medical certificate or Georgian College Medical Fitness Report.
Minimum 16 years of age.
Participants taking this course must be clean shaven.
Participants may be asked to participate in a fit test.
Valid Government Issued Photo ID (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport or Citizenship Card)
Fatigue Management at Sea - Certificate
Please Note: All International - STCW Certificates must be submitted to Transport Canada for verification and validity. Contact your local Transport Canada office to ensure your certificates are endorsed prior to course registration. Any students arriving without proof of TC verification will not be able to participate in training with CMTR.
